Model inputs

Announcement defaults are selected.

Funded → total results 300 → 380 80 milestone pulls added
Expected first copy 79.0 funded pulls 28.8 fewer than current
Expected five copies 378.8 funded pulls 62.3 fewer than current
Expected cost

Funded pulls to obtain Pick-Up Students

Milestone tickets keep the new system ahead throughout the ten-copy range.

Difference

Expected funded pulls saved

Positive bars mean the renewed system requires fewer player-funded pulls.

Two copies

Probability by funded-pull budget

Ticket pulls are applied as soon as their milestones are reached.

Four copies

Probability by funded-pull budget

The current system catches up at 200-point exchange thresholds; tickets create earlier jumps.

Milestone pull counts used by the model

The milestone counter resets each Pick-Up period. Repeatable rewards after the first track contain no additional recruitment tickets.

Math and assumptions

The calculations are evaluated directly in the browser.

Current system

Copies after n funded pulls are modeled as featured-rate successes plus floor(n / 200) exchanged copies. Pulling the Pick-Up Student does not reset Recruitment Points.

Renewed system

Each Charge cycle uses the selected featured rate, an exact 50% Pick-Up chance at Charge 100, and a guarantee at Charge 200. A matching Pick-Up result resets Charge immediately.

Milestone tickets

The model converts funded pulls into total results by claiming each earned 10-pull ticket immediately. Ticket results also advance the milestone counter and can unlock later tickets.

Expected pulls

Expected cost is calculated from the full probability distribution: for each funded-pull budget, the model sums the probability that the target copy count has not yet been reached.
